Day 1: Cochin – Munnar
On arrival to Cochin Airport/Railway Station our representative will greet you and will take you to our first attraction-“Munnar”. Munnar is lovely hill station in the southwestern state of Kerala, India. Munnar is situated around 1600 m above sea level in the Western Ghats range of mountains. Munnar provides a pleasant experience with cool weather during the monsoon.On the way to Munnar you will be stopped to enjoy the white spray of water from the beautiful waterfalls of cheeyappara and valara. Also you will be stopped at karadippara view point to enjoy the view of Munnar. After reaching the hotel/resort check in and relax for the day.
Day 2: Munnar
Start your pleasant day at Munnar with a delicious breakfast and you will be taken for sightseeing.The sightseeing includes places like Top Station where mist and fog surrounds you, Echo point where you can feel the scenic beauty of nature, and Kundala dam where you can have the thrill of boating, Mattupetty dam, Rajamalai, Eravikulam National Park and more.After a wonderful day with Munnar return back to hotel/resort and relax.
Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady
After having delightful breakfast in the morning, drive to Thekkady and check into Hotel.Thekkady is located near to Kerala & Tamilnadu border. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.Enjoy the drive between the tea mountains and boating in Periyar River, also enjoy other wonderful attractions of Thekkady like spice plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride. By evening return back to hotel and relax yourself and overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarakom
You will be taken from Thekkady to drive to Kumarakom- the largest freshwater lake in the state of Kerala. Kumarakom is a destination famous for Backwaters located near Kottayam, Kerala and which has a moderate climate throughout the year. Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is habitat for many marine and freshwater fish species.Enjoy the Backwater cruise and sightseeing places like Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls, overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom – Cochin
After having your breakfast, check out from house boat and you will be taken to Cochin Railway Station/Airport for Departure. Cochin is the colonial name of Kochi, India, a major port city by the Arabian Sea on the southern part of India’s west coast. Kochi has been important spice trading center on the west coast of India, connecting the mainland to the rest of the world and known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” On the way you can enjoy sightseeing places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church, the Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach and more.Travel back to your home with wonderful memories of amazing experience in Kerala.
